Maxine Slavin

Maxine accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age with her parents and family at Barker Church of the United Brethren.  After marriage, she was a longtime devoted member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  She was first a member at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, in rural Scotland County, where she was the church pianist, and later at the First Presbyterian Church of Memphis, Missouri, where she served in many leadership and fellowship capacities.
