Mary L. Bennett

Graveside services for Mary L. Bennett, 84, of Edina, Missouri formerly of rural Memphis, MO will be held Saturday morning, Nov. 3, at 11:00 A.M. at the Greensburg Cemetery in Knox County with Pastor Jack Sumption officiating.  Mary Bennett passed away early Wednesday morning, 10/31, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  The daughter of Andrew Clayton and Mabel Jeffreys Fogle she was born August 15, 1934 in Scotland County, MO.   Survivors include two daughters: Shirley (Chris) Thyson of Novelty, MO and Becky (Robert) Whiteaker of LaBelle, MO; grandchildren: Amy Whiteaker of LaBelle, MO, Brian Ethridge of Kirksville, MO, Chanel Thyson of Fairfield, OH; great-grandchildren: Kaitlin Whiteaker of Quincy, IL and Cassidy Miller of LaBelle, MO; two brothers: William and Gary Stice of Keokuk, IA; a sister-in-law: Estelene Bennett of Vermont, IL; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

Others preceding  her in death were her parents, two brothers, Walter Fogle and Wallace Fogle, two sisters, Inez Fogle and Virginia Winn, two brother-in-laws, Ernest Winn and Lloyd Bennett along with a nephew, Lloyd Ivan Bennett. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to the OATS Transportation and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 East Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.
