Hazel Elaine Cunningham, 78, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away Monday morning, February 6, 2017, peacefully at her home in Colorado. The daughter of Fleet and Verlee( Boyer) Cunningham, she was born April 10, 1938 at Gorin, Missouri.

Hazel attended the Narrow Grove School east of Gorin through her grade school years and graduated with the class of of 1956 at the Gorin High School. She then started working at the Schaeffer Pen Company in Fort Madison, Iowa.

She married Vansil Bradley from Bible Grove on April 28, 1957 at the Methodist Church in Memphis, Missouri and to this union one daughter was born: Teresa Lee.

They started their life living on a family farm near Bible Grove in Scotland County, Missouri. They farmed with his parents, J.S. and Mamie and they took care of them until their passing.

Hazel worked at several jobs, including being a janitor and cook at the Bible Grove grade school. She worked 19 years at National Garment factory in Memphis Missouri.

She loved her family and was glad when Teresa and Scott got married August 19, 1979 and they blessed her with the birth of their son Logan on July 17, 1995.

She was baptized in Christ in 1958 at the Bible Grove Church of Christ, Bible Grove, Missouri.  She and her family continued to worship at the Church of Christ until she moved to Colorado Springs Colorado to live with her daughter Teresa and family in 2004. There she worshiped at the Colorado Springs Christian Church.

She will always be remembered for her smiles and her loving caring ways, always encouraging and willing to help anyone in need. She was happiest being with her many friends. She had an almost magic way with people and most everyone described her as being SO nice!

Surviving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Teresa Robinson and her husband Scott and a grandson, Logan Robinson, of Colorado Springs, Co., two brothers, Harold Cunningham and wife Bernadette of Petersburg Nebraska and George Allen Cunningham and wife Judy of Ixonia Wisconsin; nephew Keith (Joie) Cunningham and a niece Tina (Dean) Mentch, great nephews and nieces, Travis, Adam and Anna Mentch, and, Carson and Rachel Cunningham. She is also survived by many cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 44years, Vansil, in September of 1997.

Memorials in her memory are suggested to the Church of Christ Cemetery Fund in care of Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
