Harold M. Jayne Jr.

Funeral services for Harold M. “Mitch” Jayne Jr., 91, of Memphis, Missouri will be held Monday afternoon, 11/02, at 2:00 P.M. the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Charles McCracken officiating.  Interment will follow in the Memphis Cemetery east of Memphis.  Full military honors will be provided at graveside by the Wallace W. Gillespie V.F.W. Post #4958 of Memphis and two from his unit.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday afternoon, 11/02, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at at Payne’s with the family present.

Mitch Jayne passed away Tuesday morning, 10/27, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

Survivors include three sons: David M. Jayne of Kirksville, MO, Thomas M. Jayne MD of Waynesboro, VA ,and Mark R. Jayne of Memphis, MO; a daughter-in-law: Laura Jayne; six grandchildren: Melissa Probst, Andrew Jayne, Bradley Jayne, PhD., Megan Heil, Whitney Cremeens, and Savannah Jayne, along with seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Presbyterian Church in Memphis in care of Payne Funeral Chapel , 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
