Druzella Winn

February 27, 1942 — February 9, 2019

Druzella Winn of rural Memphis, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.  Druzella was 76 years old.  She died as a result of complications from a sudden and unexpected illness on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Druzella was the third child born on February 27, 1942 in rural Schuyler County, Missouri to parents, Vernie and Lucille Aldridge.

On April 2, 1960, in Queen City, Missouri, Druzella was united in marriage to the love of her life, Albert Lee Winn.  To this union were born five children, in addition to raising a nephew as their own:  Zella Ann (Dennis) Thoenen, Mexico, MO; Frank (Dinah) Winn, Benton City, MO; Wayne (Brenda) Winn, Memphis, MO; Jimmie (Dorene) Winn, Memphis, MO; Rex (Beverly) Winn, Downing, MO; and Randall (Jenny) Aldridge, Memphis, MO.  Surviving family also includes eleven grandchildren:  Jesse Winn, Jarrod Winn, Jewelee Winn, Kaylan (Tyler) Henstorf, Justin Winn, Nick Winn, Shelbey (Beau) Blankinship, Khelcie Sallee, Lynnedee Winn, Kyle Aldridge, and Aden Aldridge; seven great-grandchildren:  Rosie Winn, Samantha Rickerson, Aubrey Rickerson, Aliskah Orton, Kolt Roberts, Kreo Blankinship, Kenzie Henstorf, and unborn baby, Tanner Henstorf due in June, 2019; sister, Dorothy Mae Aldridge; brother, Larry Aldridge, and wife, Ilene; sister, Roerine Snyder and husband, Chuck; sister-in-law, Marjorie McFarland; and brother-in-law, Gene Winn and wife, Barb; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Druzella enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, mowing her yard, and being with her family. She really enjoyed feeding and watching her birds year round, especially her quail. She adored her grandchildren, and her great-great-children and so enjoyed spending time with them.

Druzella was a member of the Scotland County Antique Fair Association.  She looked forward to  helping serve food at auctions.  She had many good times with her special friend, Elaine Briggs, who also helped serve food at the auctions.

Druzella was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents, Vernie & Lucille Aldridge; a sister, Beatrice Lewis; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ann Aldridge; brother, Joe Aldridge, of Tama, Iowa; a grandson, Frankie Lee Winn, Jr.; two great-grandsons, Gabe & Weston Henstorf; nephews, Ray Aldridge and Kenny Lewis; brother and sister-in-laws, Lowell & Virginia Gray, Lee & Nadine Chancellor, Charles Winn, and Lonnie Winn.

Druzella will very much be missed by not only her family, but her friends as well.
