Funeral services for Doris “Jean” Campbell, 84, of rural Memphis, Missouri will be at 1:30 P.M Thursday, 9/28, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Interment to follow in Friendship Cemetery northwest of Memphis.Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, 9/27 from 12 to 8 p.m. at Payne’s with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 that evening. Jean passed away Sunday afternoon, 9/24, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center at Kirksville, Missouri. She is survived by her six children, Paul and his wife Cathy, Sharon and her husband Dennis, Bob and his friend Linda, Don and his wife Stephanie, Michael and his wife Terry and Jim and his wife Joni; Fourteen Grandchildren: Lance (Allison) Campbell, Lane (Jessica) Campbell, Lucinda (Nate) Clubb. Derek Bradley, Michelle (Bill) Holland, Jason Campbell, Kristi (Ryan) Groseclose, Kristopher (Meagan) Campbell, Grant Campbell, Laney Campbell, Brooke Campbell, Courtney Campbell, Mathew Campbell, Kylie Campbell, Twenty great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Friendship Cemetery Association and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.
