 Caroline Kay (Clatt) Dennison, 79, of Memphis, MO, passed away on October 20th, 2024 at University Hospital in Iowa City.

   The Daughter of  Paul Henry and Ruth (Grubb) Clatt  was born on Sunday, May 13, 1945 in Arbela, MO. 

Caroline was a 1963 graduate of Scotland County R-1 Schools.

 She was untied in marriage on August 14, 1965 to Henry L. "Bud" Dennison and to this union 4 children were born: Tammie, Donna, Donald, and Linda Jo.

 She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid collector of Barbie Dolls and loved animals.

Her most notable attribute was her long fingernails. Caroline spent many years working at Casey's General Store in Memphis, MO.

 Caroline was preceeded in death by her husband Henry "Bud", both parents, Paul and Ruth Clatt, three daughters, Tammie, Donna, & Linda, two siblings, Margaret (Clatt) Kaldenberg, and John Clatt, two brothers-in-law, Richard Kaldenberg and Eldon Potter, one sister-in-law, Nancy Clatt, one son-in-law, Brian Mallett, and one nephew,Terry Kaldenberg.

 Caroline is survived by her son Donald (Jalisa) Dennison of Memphis, MO, one grandson, Aaron Mallett of Kirksville, MO, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Potter of Hamilton, Illinois and Shirley Clatt of Ashland, Nebraska, her step-mother Shirley M. Clatt of Memphis, MO, several neices and nephews, many second and third generation neices and nephews, one fourth generation neice, many cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family, to for their discretion and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
